Counter-strike is one of the most famous mods ever created. Based on the half-life game, it soon become more popular than the original game. Game rules are very simple, there are two sides, the terrorists and the anti-terrorist police forces. The task for each side is to eliminate members of opposite faction. Depending on the map, there are also additional goals, like rescuing the hostages, or planting a bomb ( disarming it if you are anti-terrorist). The game is split into rounds, that ends when either a team is killed or a specific goal is achieved. After the end of each round, the players are given currency which they can use to purchase new weapons and equipment. The winning side will get more money, also kills grants some extra cash. Though the basic rules are simple, the game requires communication and advanced tactics. A single bullet can kill anyone so players have to be cautious and act as a team if they want to win.
